For the AcuDetox/AcuWellness Certification training, we welcome people from all backgrounds who feel passionate about bringing Acudetox/Acuwellness as a resilience and  empowerment tool into their work and into their communities. All professionals and all volunteers and peers are welcome!

The training will focus on AcuDetox/AcuWellness as a tool for trauma healing, resilience, and empowerment. This training includes a somatic perspective on trauma and addiction and examples in how to bring AcuDetox/AcuWellness into community settings serving underprivileged teens and adults. The training consists of didactic pieces of training, including training on trauma, on new perspectives of addiction, on the history and research of Acudetox, of all requirements to practice Acudetox in the State of Colorado, and lots of practice of the Acudetox protocol under supervision, including 4 practice sessions with community volunteers.

After this 3-day AcuDetox Certification training, then around 25-30 hours of self-study with self-study materials we provide after the training, and the completion of 40 supervised treatments in the community you will be certified to provide AcuDetox/AcuWellness in the State of Colorado and receive the credential "Auricular Acu-Technician (AAT)". This training is an approved AcuDetox/AcuWellness Certification Training through the People's Organization of Community Acupuncture (POCA) which is an approved Acudetox Training & Credential to practice AcuDetox in the State of Colorado (equivalent to NADA Trainings).
